My wheelchair is fixed!!

Thanks to Dad, Mike, Eric Bouwkamp, Loren Katerberg, and Scott (my wheelchair guy), my wheelchair is fixed! They worked on my chair most of the day Monday and the chair started to work! It was a long weekend. I can’t imagine what life would have been like before wheelchairs. A Verse comes to mind: a man could not get to Jesus so a couple of his friends carried the man on to the roof top and lowered him down to Jesus for healing.
It made me realize how good I have it!!
The Verse is: Luke 5: 17-26 “Jesus Heals a Paralytic”

Memorial Day weekend

Amy was the 1st one in the lake last weekend.
Over the Memorial Day weekend my wheelchair decided to stop working, out of 52 weekends in the year, Memorial Day weekend. But, as luck has it or as God is in control my wheelchair parts are in Cleveland. My brother Mike was in Cleveland over the weekend visiting his in-laws and will be bringing up the parts with him today! Thank you Mike!
Dad’s friends came over yesterday and even though it rained we still had a great time with great food.
This morning we tried to go fishing with Scott and his family. It got too warm outside so people started to jump in the water to cool off. Amy and two of her friends, Natalie and Kristine, came over and got to go out on the boats too.

Amy leaves for Haiti in 9 days. Her blog is:

Follow her to Haiti and back!
